About the Role

Edenred is seeking a Technical Business Analyst to join their Product team within the Account Payments Domain. This role involves collaborating with software development teams and the Product Function to understand business needs, conduct gap analyses, and support requirements for development and QA teams in a fast-paced, rewarding environment.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts, Product Managers, and Business Stakeholders to analyze new features, fixing or optimizing existing elements.
Understand business cases and arbitrate between requests, challenging them with relevant data where appropriate.
Assist Product Managers in prioritizing workstreams.
Analyze and capture internal and external requirements, documenting them clearly and concisely.
Propose and agree solutions based on best practices and adherence to regulations.
Evaluate business and technical solution proposals and designs to ensure they meet business requirements.
Identify potential impacts of changes to existing systems, organization, partners, and clients.
Employ structured business analysis techniques for problem-solving and requirements elicitation.
Facilitate workshops and product walkthroughs with clients and business stakeholders.
Refine user stories with the Product Manager, business stakeholders, engineering, and the wider Business Analyst team.
Produce supporting documentation for processes and static content for API/Integration documentation.
Collaborate with onshore and offshore IT development teams to maximize value of end products, features, and solutions.
Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders across the organization, IT Development, and third parties.

Requirements

Quick learner within a fast-paced environment.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skill set.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to liaise with all levels and areas of the business.
Strong negotiation skills aiding delivery of MVP.
Ability to capture requirements and solutions and document them clearly and concisely with supporting diagrams.
Results-oriented, focused on delivering solutions with a high level of accuracy.
Ability to work on multiple workstreams simultaneously.
Highly organized, self-motivated, with the ability to work independently with a sense of ownership and responsibility.
Ability to work with national and international external clients and third parties in a customer-facing business.
Experience interacting with development teams both onshore and offshore on a day-to-day basis in an Agile environment.
Experience in the Payments, Banking, or Fintech industry is highly advantageous.
A technical background (QA, Development, IT Operations) is advantageous.
SQL to retrieve data from databases.
Fundamentals of software development lifecycles.
Experience in the payments, banking or financial services.
Story writing in BDD.
Experience working within an agile environment.
System integration concepts such as REST APIs, webhooks etc.
Project tools like JIRA, visualization tools like PowerPoint, Visio or similar.
Excellent communication skills, able to understand technical requirements and communicate solutions to stakeholders.
Good team player, looking to support when required.
Self-starter, critical thinker, excellent analysis skills, problem-solving, and open-mindedness.
Strong relationship builder, enjoys engaging and growing relationships with wider business units.
Outstanding attention to detail and learning agility.
Empathetic, ability to recognize others’ emotions and perspective in the workplace.
