About the Role
A private household in Chelsea seeks two experienced, live-out Housekeepers for a permanent, long-term role. The principals are a husband and wife seeking replacements for long-serving staff who are retiring after 28 years. The role involves full housekeeping duties in a large four-storey, five-bedroom home, including cooking simple, healthy meals.
Responsibilities
- Full housekeeping of the property to a high standard
- Cleaning and maintaining all areas of the home
- Laundry and ironing
- Care of clothing and household linens
- Simple, healthy home cooking
- General household organisation
- Working alongside the other Housekeeper to ensure the smooth running of the home
- Occasional additional duties/overtime as required
Requirements
- Significant previous experience as a Housekeeper within private households
- Strong housekeeping and laundry/ironing skills
- Confident with everyday cooking and preparing simple, healthy meals
- Professional, discreet and trustworthy
- Flexible and willing to work as part of a team
- Non-smoker
- Ideally a full driving licence – at least one of the two Housekeepers must be able to drive
- A car will be provided for work purposes
- Looking for a long-term, permanent position
