Responsibilities
- Architect, design and develop REST/GraphQL APIs and microservices using Python (FastAPI/Flask) or Node.js (Express.js).
- Build video-metadata processing and event-driven systems.
- Design and optimise database schemas across relational and NoSQL stores (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, TimescaleDB, Redis).
- Implement message-broker-based pipelines (Kafka/RabbitMQ) and authentication/security (JWT, OAuth).
- Optimise API performance, design and maintain CI/CD pipelines, and containerise with Docker, orchestrate with Kubernetes.
Requirements
- 5-9 years of professional software-engineering experience with a focus on API development.
- Experience with cloud platforms and a strong background in CI/CD, Docker and Kubernetes.
