About the Role
Ouihelp is tackling a societal challenge: enabling 2 million French citizens with reduced autonomy to age in place comfortably and for as long as possible. We select the best caregivers and provide them with the tools to offer personalized support to each family. Data is crucial for planning, payroll, billing, service quality, recruitment, and expansion. Effectively leveraging data can significantly improve the daily lives of families and caregivers.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the data reference for your scope, transforming data into a reliable decision-making lever for business teams and management.
- Build foundations enabling both humans and AI agents to obtain accurate, sourced, and rapid answers.
- Conduct high-stakes analyses (e.g., agency profitability, caregiver retention, DSO, service quality) and present clear recommendations to decision-makers, including the executive committee.
- Develop and maintain essential operational dashboards, eliminating those that are no longer useful.
- Design and maintain a clear, tested, and documented analytical model using dbt.
- Ensure consistency in KPI definitions and their coherence across teams: one metric, one definition, one source.
- Monitor data freshness and quality, addressing issues at their root.
- Structure the semantic layer, documentation, and conventions that provide context for LLMs.
- Evaluate the reliability of AI-generated responses, identify deviations, and correct sources.
- Utilize AI daily to increase efficiency in SQL, modeling, review, and documentation while maintaining rigor.
- Train and equip business teams to enhance their autonomy.
- Actively contribute to the practices, tools, and organization of the data team.
Requirements
- At least one major business decision made based on your analyses with a measurable impact.
- Models you are responsible for are tested, documented, and monitored for freshness and quality.
- AI agent responses within your scope are evaluated and reliable.
- Business teams you support are more autonomous than upon your arrival.
- Minimum 4 years of experience as a Data Analyst or Analytics Engineer.
- Experience managing a scope end-to-end, from modeling to decision-making.
- Ability to make complex analyses clear for non-technical audiences, both verbally and in writing.
- Business acumen: think in terms of impact, not just queries; challenge requests, prioritize, and say no when necessary.
- Proficiency in SQL for complex transformations.
- Practical experience with dbt, including tests, documentation, and maintainable models.
- Rigor: deliver only figures that can be explained.
- Growth mindset: learn quickly, seek feedback, and improve continuously.
- Commitment to Ouihelp's mission and a desire to make a social impact.
- AI fluency: experience working with LLMs daily and understanding their potential errors.
- Understanding of how a good data model and documentation contribute to the quality of generated responses.
