About the Role
Fluent Trade Technologies is seeking a motivated, analytical, and customer-centric Integration and Implementation Engineer to bridge the gap between business requirements, technical integration, and customer education for major global financial clients. You will act as the primary technical conduit for customers, gathering and analyzing software requirements, routing them to internal teams, and training end-users. The ideal candidate blends technical skills with client-facing abilities and a strong understanding of financial technology, particularly Foreign Exchange (FX) markets.
Responsibilities
- Gather, analyze, and translate customer business and technical requirements.
- Process client requests and collaborate with R&D, Product Management, QA, and Support teams.
- Track the lifecycle of feature requests, custom developments, and bug fixes, ensuring timely delivery and providing status updates.
- Serve as the primary technical point of contact for new clients throughout the implementation and integration lifecycle.
- Educate client teams on how to effectively operate, manage, and configure the platform.
- Provide specialized support and configuration guidance for clients implementing FX-related features and trading workflows.
- Execute, test, and document system configurations and modifications in live production environments.
- Maintain knowledge base articles, contribute to implementation best practices, and provide client feedback to R&D.
Requirements
- 3–5+ years of experience in software implementation, technical integration, business analysis, or Tier 1-2 at Bank FX support desk.
- Understanding of enterprise software implementation lifecycles.
- Trading experience is required.
- Strong domain knowledge of trading systems, with a significant advantage for FX systems.
- Exceptional presentation, training, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Ability to work independently and in team environments.
- Excellent written and spoken English skills.
- Proven experience supporting clients within US business hours.
- Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies.
- Cross-functional collaboration across R&D, Integration, and PM teams.
