About the Role

Dreieins Innovative Pädagogik gGmbH is seeking a State-Certified Early Childhood Educator to provide holistic support and development for children. This role involves preparing and implementing educational activities, conducting parent-teacher meetings, and supporting children's development within a bilingual (German/English) daycare center.

Responsibilities

Holistic support and development of children in the creative, cognitive, emotional, and motor areas
Preparation and implementation of age-appropriate educational activities and projects based on the dreieins creativity-focused educational approach and the Berlin Education Program
Preparation, follow-up, and conducting of parent-teacher meetings
Supporting children during the settling-in period, observing their development, maintaining language development journals, and preparing developmental reports using the PC-based GABIP program
Participation in team meetings, the annual dreieins professional development days, and supervision sessions

Requirements

Completed training as a state-certified early childhood educator or a degree in education, social work, or a related field, or an equivalent qualification or formal recognition of equivalency as a career changer
Initial professional experience in a daycare setting
Solution-oriented approach and enjoyment in taking on new challenges
Confidence in handling challenging situations and resilience under stress
Commitment to continuous professional development and further training
Good written and spoken English skills and confidence communicating in English
