About the Role
Our client is an established engineering firm with experience in planning, managing, and supporting large infrastructure projects. For a long-term energy infrastructure project in Berlin, we are looking for an experienced project manager who combines sound tunneling knowledge with secure project management. In this position, you will be responsible for a significant project area and, together with the involved planning, construction, and project partners, ensure structured and successful implementation.
Responsibilities
- Responsibility for the successful implementation of a challenging tunneling project
- Steering and coordination of the involved planning, construction, and project partners
- Organization and support of construction execution within your area of responsibility
- Ensuring deadlines, costs, quality, and technical requirements
- Coordination with clients, specialist planners, authorities, and other project participants
- Coordination of technical and organizational interfaces within the project
- Structured documentation and tracking of key project decisions
Requirements
- Degree in Civil Engineering or a comparable qualification
- Several years of relevant professional experience in tunneling
- Experience in managing or steering complex construction and infrastructure projects
- Sound knowledge of project management as well as deadline, cost, and quality management
- Strong communication skills and confident interaction with internal and external stakeholders
- Structured, independent, and solution-oriented way of working
- Very good German language skills at native level
