About the Role
As a Master CNC Manufacturing / Machining Technician (m/f/d) at the Chemnitz location, you will take responsibility for leading your team, controlling state-of-the-art manufacturing processes, and setting innovative accents in production with us. Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate the team in the CNC manufacturing area by clearly assigning tasks and providing technical and disciplinary guidance to employees.
- Control the entire production process, considering deadline, quality, and capacity targets, while ensuring optimal personnel deployment planning.
- Continuously monitor and optimize CNC machining processes, conduct root cause analyses for quality problems, and implement measures for process improvement.
- Implement new manufacturing technologies in close cooperation with other departments, support audits, and promote employee development through targeted training measures.
- Ensure a high safety and quality culture, manage the escalation of critical production events, and actively participate in investment and improvement projects.
Requirements
- Completed vocational training in the metal sector with further training as a Master Metal Technician, Industrial Master Metal, or a comparable qualification and several years of relevant professional experience. Alternatively, a completed Bachelor's degree with initial relevant professional experience.
- Several years of experience in CNC manufacturing and sound knowledge of machining technologies.
- Proficient in modern CNC controls, manufacturing systems, as well as SAP, MES, and digital manufacturing systems.
- Experience in Lean Manufacturing, TPM, Shopfloor Management, and the optimization of production processes.
- Leadership competence, assertiveness, analytical thinking, and a high level of quality and safety awareness.
- Willingness to work in shift operations.
- Very good German language skills, both written and spoken.
