About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Product Manager with strong technical expertise and an AI-first approach to own a product area end-to-end. This role involves identifying problems, shaping solutions, launching new products, and driving growth. You will leverage your technical understanding to make informed decisions and move quickly, with approximately 70% focus on product and 30% on engineering.
Responsibilities
- Set the vision, strategy, and roadmap for your product area, defining what to build, why, and how success will be measured.
- Deliver new products and features from problem discovery through to launch and iteration.
- Conduct user research and data analysis to understand and validate real user problems.
- Define, instrument, and track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for your area, using product analytics to identify friction and prioritize work.
- Collaborate with engineering to understand architectural trade-offs, review technical approaches, and write clear, technical specifications.
- Identify opportunities to leverage Large Language Models (LLMs) and agents to create product value and drive their implementation.
- Rapidly prototype ideas using AI tools, scripts, or no-code solutions to validate concepts.
- Engage in hands-on work, including writing queries, analyzing data pipelines, and developing prototypes.
- Balance user impact, business value, effort, and regulatory constraints in prioritization, working closely with cross-functional teams.
Requirements
- 5+ years in product management or product engineering with significant technical involvement.
- Proven track record of taking products from inception to live use with real users.
- Daily use of LLMs, coding assistants, and agents, with experience applying AI to real products.
- Proficiency in Python or a similar language, sufficient for building solutions.
- Comfort with SQL, Git, databases, and evaluating system architecture.
- Experience defining metrics, analyzing data independently, and validating through user research and experiments.
- Strong understanding of User Experience (UX) with the ability to simplify complex user flows.
- Experience shipping products with Design and Engineering teams in an agile environment.
- Clear communication skills in English, with the ability to explain technical decisions to non-technical stakeholders.
- Self-directed with the ability to identify and prioritize important tasks.
