About the Role
The Language Doctors, Inc. seeks three exceptional English-to-Japanese medical translators to join our expanding team, offering flexible opportunities for full-time positions and long-term collaborations. Responsibilities
- Translate from English into Japanese, using the appropriate medical vocabulary, while maintaining the source material's tone and style.
- Adhere to our Style Guide while maintaining terminology consistency and data accuracy.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in medical translations, e.g., patient records and medical reports.
- Native and/or near-native fluency in both English and Japanese.
- Ability to work under deadlines and deliver on time.
- SDL Trados experience is a must.
Skills
- Broad medical vocabulary
- Proficiency in utilizing linguistic assets
