About the Role
As a Product Manager at Cloudflare, you will be responsible for building products that improve the way that the Internet works. You will shape high-level product goals and also get your hands dirty. You will translate a rapidly evolving threat landscape into scalable capabilities that improve detection and response across Cloudflare’s security portfolio. You will serve as a bridge between threat researchers, intelligence analysts, engineering teams, and market-facing functions, working closely with Sales, Customer Success, and our customers to understand their challenges and drive adoption. Your success will be measured by the quality, timeliness, and actionability of our intelligence and its impact on customer security outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Own the priorities and scope for a high performing engineering team focusing on detecting large scale global volumetric attacks.
- Connect engineering, program management, marketing, revenue, and partners to ensure timely and impactful product launches.
- Work with product managers across the company to prioritize systemic improvements needed by enterprise customers.
- Engage directly with customers to understand their product usage and bring insights back to the team to build a great roadmap.
- Join pre-sales and post-sales calls with customers, sales, support, etc., to assist with and understand all phases of the customer lifecycle.
- Work with data, and analyze data to quantify the impact of problems and opportunities.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a product manager delivering solutions in the cloud at scale for a technical audience.
- Comfortable understanding how to design for enterprises without compromising the experience for individuals and small businesses.
- Hands-on experience in managing complex escalations and leading high-profile engagements (such as Quarterly Business Reviews).
- Experience delivering product updates to executive stakeholders (both internal and external).
- Experience maintaining proactive communication during incidents.
- Experience setting clear and realistic expectations.
- Experience driving cross-functional initiatives.
- Ability to grasp complex technical concepts and translate them for customers through various channels.
- Comfortable engaging in deep technical discussions with engineering teams.
- Professional experience in threat intelligence, adversary tactics and common TI frameworks, and/or general intelligence requirements and prioritization concepts is preferred.
