About the Role
Virgin Active is seeking talented and engaging Cycle Instructors to deliver exceptional fitness experiences and inspire members to live active, balanced lives. This role involves bringing energy, expertise, and community into every class taught.
Responsibilities
- Deliver classes across London & Collection clubs with a unique, engaging style.
- Lead high-quality group exercise classes adhering to Virgin Active standards.
- Create an inclusive and welcoming environment for all members.
- Prepare thoroughly for each class, including music, equipment, and content.
- Provide clear, confident, and motivating instruction for safe exercise.
- Create an energetic and memorable class experience.
- Build positive relationships with members and foster a sense of community.
- Maintain professionalism, punctuality, and reliability.
- Adhere to all Virgin Active health, safety, and operational procedures.
- Ensure the safe and clean use of equipment and studio space.
- Communicate effectively with the club team and report any issues.
- Represent the Virgin Active brand positively.
- Be open to feedback and continuously develop teaching skills.
Requirements
- Inspiring and empowering group exercise instructor with stage presence.
- Good understanding of how music can structure a class.
- Experience in teaching group exercise classes.
- Knowledge of clear communication and instruction fundamentals.
- Passion for ensuring member safety and identifying exercise risks.
- Enthusiasm for the community aspect of fitness and building member relationships.
- Willingness to learn from others.
- Ability to act as a team member with a shared goal.
- Commitment to working hard and being authentic.
