About the Role
As a Senior DevSecOps Engineer within our Data & AI organization, you will integrate security into application development and deployment. You will collaborate with MLOps, Data Science, AI, and Engineering teams, providing hands-on security engineering and guidance to address emerging security challenges.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines, embedding security testing and controls.
- Strengthen application and cloud-native security by identifying risks and implementing controls in Kubernetes and containerized environments.
- Enable secure development across Data & AI by translating security requirements into practical guardrails and solutions.
- Manage CVEs and vulnerabilities, supporting prioritization and working with teams on mitigation.
- Contribute to security testing, monitoring, and continuous improvement, advising teams on security issues and exploring automation.
Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience as a DevSecOps / Application Security Engineer.
- Experience securing applications and software development in cloud-native and Kubernetes environments.
- Operate at a Senior/Staff level with the ability to own complex security topics.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD security and GitHub, GitLab, or comparable tooling.
- Automate security guardrails, testing, and checks within development pipelines.
- Solid expertise in application and cloud-native security, including Kubernetes/container security.
- Experience with vulnerability management, CVEs, security scanning, triage/prioritization, and remediation workflows.
- Shift-left mindset and experience working closely with developers.
- Experience with Python and Data & AI/ML environments is a plus.
