About the Role

We are seeking passionate Plumbing and Heating Engineers to install our Air Source Heat Pumps. Full training will be provided for those transitioning to renewables.

Responsibilities

Install low carbon technology, starting with Air Source Heat Pumps, in customers' homes.
Learn about new technologies and receive training in a state-of-the-art training center.
Use knowledge and experience of heat pump installations to deliver an excellent customer experience.
Review and collaborate on technical specifications and mechanical drawings.
Work with an electrician to commission Air Source Heat Pumps.
Lead a team, be responsible for the crew, and empower them to make on-the-fly decisions.

Requirements

Experienced in the installation of boilers.
Experienced plumbing and heating engineer with knowledge of heating system design and fault-finding abilities.
Domestic hot & cold water system knowledge.
Experience of reviewing and challenging technical specifications & mechanical drawings.
Knowledge of and basic competency in electrical levels is preferred.
Experience with hydraulic systems to design & quality standards - CIBSE & MCS is preferred.
F-gas knowledge is preferred but not essential.

WRAS Water Supply Regs (preferred)
UHW10/HWSS Unvented DHW Storage Systems (preferred)
Gas safe certification (preferred)
BPEC L3 or equivalent in heat pump installation (preferred)

Salary/Compensations

Basic salary £38,000 per year
On-target earnings £45,000
Additional salary for overtime/on-call
£2,500 annual bonus
