About the Role

This role focuses on keeping Tenstorrent's AI systems operational at scale, encompassing tasks such as bringing compute clusters online, developing software shipping pipelines, and ensuring reliable model serving on hardware. The position spans multiple teams within Software, including Cloud Computing, Infrastructure/DevOps, and Data Centre (DC) Deployment.

Responsibilities

Automate cluster setup and health checks using Ansible/AWX.
Troubleshoot server, Linux, and network issues.
Build CI/CD pipelines.
Develop containerized test environments.
Manage Kubernetes deployments.
Implement release automation for multi-host execution.

Requirements

Currently pursuing a BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
Interest in understanding the integration of servers, networks, operating systems, and distributed systems in large-scale environments.
Excitement for building custom tools, programs, and infrastructure solutions.
Comfortable working with Linux.
Interest in infrastructure, networking, automation, and distributed systems.
Ability to write useful applications, services, automation, or tooling in Python, Bash, or another programming language.
Familiarity with infrastructure automation concepts and tools such as Ansible, or interest in developing deeper experience.
Basic understanding of CI/CD pipelines and software deployment workflows.
