About the Role
The Senior Legal Counsel: Infrastructure and Construction provides strategic, commercially focused legal support for Firmus' operations, infrastructure, procurement, and supply chain activities. This role serves as a trusted advisor to business leaders on complex legal, commercial, and operational matters, helping the Company identify opportunities, manage risk, and execute its growth strategy. The position involves leading legal support for significant commercial and project-related arrangements, negotiating complex agreements, and providing practical, solutions-oriented advice in a fast-paced, high-growth technology environment.
Responsibilities
- Construction and infrastructure projects
- Property transactions, leasing and development matters
- Supply chain, procurement and strategic sourcing arrangements
- Power, energy and utilities agreements
- Insurance, claims and risk management matters
- Legal risk management and regulatory compliance
- Development and maintenance of legal templates, policies and frameworks
Requirements
- Minimum 8-10 years' post-qualification experience (PQE)
- Experience gained in a top-tier law firm and/or a sophisticated in-house legal environment
- Strong experience across construction, property, supply chain, procurement, energy, utilities, insurance and commercial contracting
- Proven ability to negotiate and manage complex commercial and project arrangements
- Strong commercial judgment and pragmatic approach to legal risk
- Ability to operate autonomously and provide clear, solutions-focused advice in a fast-paced, growth-oriented business
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication and negotiation skills
