About the Role
We are seeking a Senior SAP Consultant specializing in Logistics modules (SD/MM/WM) to join our team in Tokyo, Japan. This role involves leading end-to-end project activities, providing expert design and configuration, and supporting clients in their S/4HANA transformation.
Responsibilities
- Take responsibility for the process, functional, and technical design in SAP projects for Sales & Distribution/ Material Management/ Warehouse Management modules.
- Conduct workshops to advise clients on S/4HANA feasibility.
- Drive end-to-end project activities including requirements gathering, solution design and configuration, training, testing, cutover, and hypercare support within Japan and the Asia-Pacific region.
- Provide production support, resolve tickets, and implement enhancements for continuous improvement.
- Support pre-sales activities, including proposal contributions, in Japan and the Asia-Pacific Region.
Requirements
- A degree in computer science, mathematics, engineering, any other science topic, or business.
- Fluent in Japanese (JLPT N2) and English (verbal and written).
- At least 7 years of professional experience in Sales & Distribution/ Material Management/ Extended Warehouse Management, preferably in Japan project implementations.
- Hands-on project experience in S/4HANA in SD/ MM/ WM modules.
- Deep expertise in SAP MM (Purchasing, Inventory) and WM (Warehouse Management) modules, including functionalities and data migration.
- Strong understanding of Supply Chain, Logistics, and Inventory Management business processes.
- Experienced in SAP project lifecycle implementation.
- Understanding of integration topics to other modules.
- Good communication, problem-solving, teamwork, and stakeholder management skills.
- An analytical and problem-solving consultant with the desire to develop your own skills and talents.
- An eloquent and extroverted person happy to support our pre-sales cycle.
- Passionate and determined while appreciating teamwork.
- Willing to take over responsibility and to make decisions.
- Able to lead a small team, with strong social and communication skills.
