About the Role

This 12-week paid summer internship offers a deep dive into the world of commercial underwriting within the Cyber & Technology Errors & Omissions (E&O) team. You will gain hands-on experience in assessing risk, structuring policies, collaborating with internal and external partners, and managing a business portfolio, contributing to protecting clients' assets and ensuring portfolio profitability.

Responsibilities

• Learn how to evaluate and underwrite Cyber insurance, Errors & Omissions insurance, Miscellaneous Professional liability and Media Liability.
• Analyze Insureds’ cyber hygiene and professional liability exposures through the analysis of submission materials (applications, 10k findings, news articles, claim trends and customer meetings).
• Collaborate with experienced underwriters and cross-functional teams, including the claims and actuarial teams.
• Meet external broker partners and clients to build your professional network.
• Participate in real-world projects that impact customers and the business.
• Collaborate with BHSI Interns across North America.

Requirements
