Responsibilities
- Prepare, check, and sort customer items before washing, ensuring accurate tagging and documentation in SAP.
- Operate washing and drying machinery safely and effectively, adhering to correct procedures, loads, and program settings.
- Check cleaned garments for quality and presentation, identifying and recording any issues or defects in SAP.
- Accurately prepare and pack completed orders for delivery or collection, ensuring correct paperwork and labelling.
- Maintain precise and accurate records at each stage of the process, ensuring clear, consistent documentation.
- Carry out deliveries and collections using company vehicles, ensuring accurate handovers and providing professional customer service.
- Follow all health and safety procedures, including correct handling of chemicals, equipment, and vehicles.
- Keep work areas clean, tidy, and organized to maintain a safe and efficient working environment.
- Support colleagues and other departments as required, covering various tasks in line with business needs.
Requirements
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Decision-making skills.
- Ability to correctly start the paperwork trail.
- Experience with manual handling of laundry bags.
- Ability to work under pressure and understand the order of priority.
- Strong communication skills within peer groups.
- Acts as a role model.
- Confident using a PC.
