About the Role
Woven by Toyota is contributing to Toyota's transformation into a mobility company. Our mission is to expand the definition of mobility, enhance its societal contributions, and challenge the status quo with people-centric innovation. We focus on AD/ADAS, the Arene software production platform for SDVs, Woven City, and Cloud & AI digital infrastructure. Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Perception, Control, Simulation, Infrastructure, and Tooling teams to build integrated solutions and enhance the safety and reliability of system-level functions and performance in AD/ADAS.
- Develop features such as lane keeping, speed control, lane changing, and path planning.
- Understand and practice software development practices that produce maintainable code, including simulation, CI, code reviews, HIL testing, and in-vehicle testing.
- Act as a member of the team responsible for advanced research through product development.
- Work under an Engineering Manager based on a hybrid work system, with three days in the office per week.
Requirements
- Technical expertise in at least one of the following areas: path planning utilizing sensor or map information, vehicle motion control (longitudinal and lateral), or data-driven planning using machine learning.
- Experience implementing these technologies in ADAS systems, robotics, or autonomous driving.
- Degree in Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Robotics, Applied Mathematics, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in path planning, vehicle control, or ADAS.
- 3+ years of experience in software development using C++ on GitHub and utilizing support tools for software quality assurance.
- Professional proficiency in English (spoken and written).
