About the Role
Join a 140-strong UK Civil/Structural team specializing in complex engineering problems, including dynamic load effects from seismic, blast, and impact. This role requires going beyond code checks to understand structural response and failure mechanisms, fostering a collaborative and learning-oriented environment. You will work on multi-million pound infrastructure improvement projects involving reinforced concrete, plated steel, and maritime structures.
Responsibilities
- Inter-discipline project planning, delivery, and financial performance
- Ensuring technical quality and excellence of project deliverables
- Providing technical and professional guidance, support, and development to junior engineers and technicians
- Adherence to and contribution to business and quality management systems
- Ensuring operational and design safety, and developing a good safety culture
Requirements
- Good all-round technical design expertise using British and/or Eurocodes
- Proven ability to manage projects and prepare project deliverables, including managing quality, budget, programme, and resources
