About the Role
Our team is dedicated to creating a safe, fun, and encouraging environment where children not only learn to swim but thrive. We are hiring Swim Instructors and Lifeguards, with opportunities for certified lifeguards to teach swim lessons and provide lifeguard coverage.
Responsibilities
- Teach weekly lessons for children ages 6 months - 12 years
- Celebrate student milestones and build confidence
- Create positive, trusting relationships with students and parents
- Keep safety a top priority for everyone in and around the pool
- Stay active and engaged in this on-your-feet, in the water role
- Monitor pool activities to maintain a safe environment
- Enforce pool rules and respond quickly to emergencies
- Perform rescues and administer CPR/AED/First Aid when necessary
- Conduct safety checks and report hazards
- Maintain focused attention to reduce risks
- Support special events and weekend pool parties
Requirements
- Must be at least 16 years old (Swim Instructor)
- Must be at least 15 years old (Lifeguard)
- Love working with kids and bringing positive energy
- Reliable, safety-minded and professional
- Comfortable in the water and active on your feet
- Strong swimming and rescue skills
- Ability to remain calm and act quickly in emergencies
