About the Role

This is an on-call, back-up/relief position only. Applicant must reside in or be able to travel to San Francisco, CA.

Responsibilities

Act as a visual deterrent to prevent theft, embezzlement, sabotage, fire, and accidents.
Conduct regular patrols.
Monitor activities.
Perform surveillance.
Manage access control.
Provide safety escorts.
Utilize provided communication devices.
Represent SSNW’s brand.
Properly wear the issued uniform.
Complete Daily Activity Reports (DAR).
Complete Incident Reports.
Work with local law enforcement and emergency services.
Provide friendly assistance to customers, employees, and visitors following department procedures.
Perform other duties as described in the Post Orders.

Requirements

Must have a valid driver's license.
Must have a clean criminal record and driving record.
Must possess a smart phone to access company apps for scheduling, clocking in/out, and reporting.
Must have reliable transportation.
Must demonstrate honesty and integrity.
Must be able to work non-traditional hours including swings, graveyard, weekends, and holidays.
Must hold a current CA BSIS Security Guard License.
Must be able to react appropriately in high-stress situations.
Must be able to conduct regular walking foot patrols.
Must be able to stand 8-12 hours a day.
Must be able to lift 50 pounds at times (occasionally).
