About the Role
This is a temporary summer internship position for a Legal Summer Associate, running for ten to twelve weeks from June 2027 to August 2027. It offers valuable hands-on exposure to a law school student seeking a professional and challenging experience. Interns will be paid an hourly rate based on their year of school with an intended 40-hour work week.
Responsibilities
- Provide legal research
- Prepare discovery
- Draft briefs and motions
- Observe proceedings in various courts
- Attend depositions, mediations, arbitrations, court appearances, and trials/hearings
- Collaborate with Travelers Staff Counsel attorneys, support staff, and business partners
- Receive substantive feedback on all assignments
Requirements
- Must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.
- Company does not sponsor/support H-1B petitions, TN, or Forms I-983/STEM OPT for this role.
- Currently attending an accredited law school.
