About the Role
Industrial Maintenance Technicians ensure optimal efficiency by performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, prioritizing safety and quality. This role requires a technical mindset, strong mechanical capabilities, and flexibility to rotate job assignments. Technicians must be adaptable to acquire ongoing training due to evolving technology and performance standards.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate safe work habits, proper tool selection and usage, general shop practices, and maintenance tasks.
- Show knowledge of support equipment, critical equipment components, and critical equipment operational sequencing.
- Demonstrate knowledge of electrical welding, gas welding, cutting, soldering, pipe fittings, and metal fabrication.
- Identify and inspect mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components.
- Rebuild mechanical drive components such as clutches and brakes.
- Verify and correct mechanical timing.
- Perform proper component lubrication and conduct preventive maintenance on specific equipment.
- Identify mechanical wear and troubleshoot/replace mechanical drive and conveyor components.
- Use SAP software for parts checkout, reporting, and data entry.
- Practice learned knowledge of environmental and maintenance programs.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Comply with all Company policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
- Possess or attain required licenses for boilers, refrigeration components, and other job-related equipment.
Requirements
- Ability to climb fixed and portable ladders to a height of twenty feet.
- Ability to stoop and bend while lifting weights up to fifty pounds.
- Ability to climb onto and under machinery as required.
- 1+ years of experience as a technician in heating, ventilation, air conditioning, welding, electrical, industrial equipment, automotive repairs, or related field.
