- Contribute to architectural decisions, balancing reliability, scalability, maintainability, and security.
- Collaborate with manufacturing process experts and engineers to translate requirements into robust software systems.
- Establish and uphold engineering best practices, including code review, testing, documentation, and version control.
- Mentor other engineers and communicate architectural intent clearly.
- Present technical approaches and trade-offs to stakeholders.
- Contribute to conference presentations, publications, or patents where relevant.
Requirements

- Demonstrated experience designing software architecture for non-trivial systems.
- Practical experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) in production or near-production settings.
- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong fundamentals in version control, automated testing, and code review practices.
- Experience leveraging AI agents to accelerate development.
- Ability to communicate clearly with engineers and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work well with evolving priorities in a collaborative, cross-disciplinary environment.
- Proficient written and verbal communication with customers, including presenting technical work.
