About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and commercially minded generalist Building Surveyor to join our London team, delivering expert advice across a diverse range of commercial property instructions for both landlord and occupier clients. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a broad spectrum of projects, combining technical due diligence and dilapidations with wider professional building surveying services. Working across a varied portfolio of commercial real estate assets, you will provide strategic advice throughout the property lifecycle, helping clients make informed decisions that support their business objectives. You will be responsible for managing client relationships, delivering high-quality surveying advice, and identifying opportunities to add value through practical, commercially focused solutions.

Responsibilities

Deliver expert advice across a diverse range of commercial property instructions for both landlord and occupier clients.
Provide strategic advice throughout the property lifecycle.
Manage client relationships.
Deliver high-quality surveying advice.
Identify opportunities to add value through practical, commercially focused solutions.
Advise a broad range of landlord and occupier clients on complex and high-profile instructions across all sectors.
Deliver contract administration, refurbishment projects, planned preventative maintenance, schedules of condition, party wall matters and licence for alterations.
Provide commercially focused advice that supports wider asset management objectives.

Requirements

Motivated and commercially minded generalist Building Surveyor.
Ability to work on a broad spectrum of projects.
Experience in technical due diligence and dilapidations.
Experience in wider professional building surveying services.
Experience working across a varied portfolio of commercial real estate assets.
Ability to provide strategic advice throughout the property lifecycle.
Ability to help clients make informed decisions that support their business objectives.
Experience managing client relationships.
Experience delivering high-quality surveying advice.
Ability to identify opportunities to add value through practical, commercially focused solutions.
