Responsibilities
- Oversee all daily on-site construction activities, ensuring work is completed on schedule and within scope.
- Coordinate and manage subcontractors, trades, and labor crews to maintain workflow and productivity.
- Enforce strict jobsite safety protocols and OSHA compliance standards at all times.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor quality control and ensure work meets project specifications.
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to resolve field issues and RFIs.
- Maintain accurate daily logs, progress reports, and site documentation.
- Manage material deliveries, equipment scheduling, and site logistics.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a Site Superintendent or construction field supervisor.
- Proven experience managing ground-up construction or large-scale renovation projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, building codes, and NYC DOB regulations.
- OSHA 30 certification required.
- Site Safety Manager (SSM) or SST card a plus.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and project specifications.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with construction management software and scheduling tools.
