About the Role
Infosys is seeking an SAP SD/MM Consultant to join their global team. This role involves participating in SAP Logistics projects, including system configuration, and requires reporting and SD/MM experience.
Responsibilities
- Engage as an SAP Logistics consultant in global template rollout projects, including system configuration.
- Analyze business processes (localization) and map them to system functionalities.
- Communicate with business and IT teams to gather information, provide solutions, and resolve issues.
- Possess general knowledge of FI, CO, WM, in addition to SD and MM.
- Support the preparation of test data, scenarios, and scripts for SIT and UAT.
- Assist the team during UAT execution and defect management processes.
- Prepare training materials in Japanese and support training sessions.
- Support the creation of project documentation.
- Assist module consultants in fixing defects during the implementation period.
- Create functional specifications for add-ons and support the technical team by providing test data.
- Investigate issues with a comprehensive understanding of all SD and MM features.
Requirements
- 7-10 years of experience in SAP SD and MM design and implementation (intermediate level).
- Deep understanding and knowledge of retail industry, SD, and MM functions, particularly FI and Japanese tax regulations.
- Thorough understanding and knowledge of how SAP distribution functions integrate with SD, MM, and Warehouse Management systems.
- Completed at least one full SAP ERP implementation cycle.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Willingness to learn and apply new technologies for problem-solving.
- Capability to communicate with senior business partners, understand detailed requirements, and deliver innovative solutions.
- Understanding of technical details required for business process support, including integration effort within functional tracks.
Skills
- Extensive knowledge of SAP Sales and Distribution (SD) and Procurement and Inventory Management (MM).
- Deep understanding and knowledge of SAP distribution functionalities and their integration with SD, MM, and Warehouse Management systems.
- Strong business management skills to cooperate with diverse team members and management globally.
- High IT proficiency, including general spreadsheet and office software skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong technical and logical problem-solving skills.
