About the Role
Cross Sales is a crucial team at Checkatrade. You'll be advising our existing customer base of tradespeople on how to optimise their marketing strategy through their account with Checkatrade. It’s a consultative sales approach, advising best practices, positioning our suite of products and handling objections to reach a positive outcome for the trade and Checkatrade. It's a fast-paced, high-activity role with monthly targets, offering real reward and room to grow.
Responsibilities
- Engage existing customers to advise and upsell.
- Act as an expert for the trade, advising them on their marketing strategy through the lens of optimising Checkatrade's product suite.
- Adopt a consultative sales approach, handle objections with confidence and close with clarity.
- Keep Salesforce data tidy, accurate and up to date.
- Work with other teams to share insight, learn fast and keep hitting targets.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a sales role with a strong track record of hitting targets.
- Confident communicator who is happy to pick up the phone and make things happen.
- Resilience, drive and a hunger to exceed expectations.
- Solid objection-handling and negotiation skills.
- A proactive mindset and a knack for spotting opportunities.
- Experience using Salesforce or a similar CRM to manage your pipeline.
