About the Role
Taxforce is building Germany's leading Tax Advisory firm, rethinking tax advisory from the ground up with an AI-powered, automated, yet personal approach. We are starting with healthcare professionals and aim to expand into more industries. This role offers a unique opportunity to work directly with founders, gain significant responsibility, and witness the transformation of a traditional industry through AI.
Responsibilities
- Take ownership of invoicing and support funds and cashflow management.
- Support monthly internal bookkeeping and financial close.
- Build and maintain reporting and controlling analyses.
- Prepare ongoing financial accounting, including receipt capture, booking, and account reconciliation.
- Prepare annual financial statement packages and business analyses.
- Provide input on tax returns and pre-filings at a draft level.
- Support digital mail and tax assessment processing through deadline control and smart document classification.
- Manage structured client communication, including document requests and follow-ups.
- Maintain client master data and support deadline control.
- Test and document internal tools and workflows.
- Contribute to automating recurring tasks such as document classification, data extraction, and integrations.
- Perform data preparation and simple analyses.
Requirements
- Motivated to work in a young team and thrive in fast-paced startup environments.
- Studying business administration, economics, law, tax, or a related field, ideally with a focus on or strong interest in tax, accounting, or finance.
- Gained hands-on experience through internships or working student roles (ideally in Tax, Accounting, Finance, or Consulting).
- Work carefully and precisely.
- Organize yourself well, prioritize tasks, and complete them independently.
- Comfortable using AI tools, capable of implementing small automations, and able to learn new tools and skills quickly.
- A team player with a natural inclination for collaboration and knowledge sharing.
- Require German language skills due to customer base.
