About the Role
This role leads the local TV Media Marketing department in The Netherlands, responsible for setting up and executing local marketing strategies across the Benelux region to maximize channel awareness and engagement.
Responsibilities
- Be responsible for all marketing activities for the TV channels (Comedy Central, Paramount Network, MTV) in Benelux.
- Lead the Marketing and Social Media department in Amsterdam (2 head counts).
- Define and manage marketing campaigns and initiatives that drive TV and digital KPIs.
- Implement measures in cooperation with programming, ad sales, media planning, PR, and international marketing teams.
- Lead and manage above-the-line, social media, and influencer marketing campaigns.
- Monitor performance and optimize digital activations based on insights and KPIs.
- Steer and manage media strategies for all local channels in partnership with the media agency.
- Work on marketing presentations and pitch decks.
- Be part of the local leadership team in NL.
- Identify and install brand-related partnerships with external parties to widen brand visibility.
- Manage marketing and social media budgets in cooperation with the finance department.
- Track spend against agreed marketing plans, ensuring cost efficiency, transparency, and compliance.
- Stay abreast of channel performance, trends, and developments within the media landscape.
Requirements
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in marketing or a related field.
- 5+ years in TV, media, content marketing, telecom, social media, a media agency, or client-side marketing.
- Native-level Dutch and excellent English.
