About the Role
Installation, assembly, and commissioning of professional audio/video and media technology at customer sites. Support with setup and commissioning of room control, conference, and presentation systems. Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues during installation and service. Performing service, maintenance, and repair tasks, collaborating with experienced technicians and engineers for complex issues. Assisting with system acceptance, customer handovers, and training. Maintaining and creating technical documentation.
Responsibilities
- Installation, assembly, and commissioning of professional audio/video and media technology at customer sites.
- Assembly of displays, cameras, speakers, microphone technology, and other AV components.
- Cabling, connection, and functional testing of AV systems and associated peripherals.
- Support with setup and commissioning of room control, conference, and presentation systems.
- Structured troubleshooting and resolution of technical issues during installation and service.
- Execution of defined service, maintenance, and repair tasks; collaboration with experienced technicians and engineers for complex issues.
- Support with system acceptance, customer handovers, and training.
- Maintenance and creation of technical documentation, and clear documentation of completed work.
- Implementation of existing technical basic concepts and support for their further development.
Requirements
- Completed technical training, ideally as a specialist for event technology, in media technology, information electronics, or a comparable qualification.
- Several years of practical professional experience in AV, media, event, or system technology; robust practical experience is decisive, not a specific minimum number of years of professional experience.
- Good technical understanding of audio, video, conference, and presentation technology.
- Practical experience in the installation and commissioning of permanently installed AV systems.
- Manual dexterity and willingness to perform installation work on-site yourself.
- Ability to systematically isolate technical problems and solve them independently within your own area of responsibility.
- Independent, reliable, solution-oriented, and pragmatic way of working.
- Driver's license class B.
- Willingness to travel, especially within Lower Saxony; day trips and overnight stays may be necessary depending on the project.
