About the Role

As an Assistant Manager, Warehouse, you will manage overall warehouse operations across multiple locations, driving efficient execution of delivery management, inventory optimization, personnel planning, and logistics operations. This role is crucial for supporting warehouse operational productivity and assisting in the planning and execution of logistics and supply chain strategies. You will also drive continuous improvement by leveraging industry best practices and new technologies.

Responsibilities

Manage and optimize warehouse delivery operations, including inbound, outbound, and Amazon deliveries.
Manage operations and develop/execute personnel plans to achieve high productivity.
Efficiently manage inventory and storage space within company and external warehouses.
Collaborate with internal departments (Retail Operations, Procurement, Health & Safety) and external partners to ensure smooth logistics plan execution.
Support the development of logistics strategies and project execution in coordination with the Manager, Warehouse.
Evaluate the effectiveness of implemented measures and strategies, making adjustments as necessary.
Stay informed about the latest industry trends and technologies in warehouse, logistics, and supply chain management for application in operational improvements.

Requirements

Over 5-7 years of extensive practical experience in warehouse management, logistics operations, or supply chain management.
Experience in inventory management for warehouses handling numerous SKUs, and managing product delivery/shipment and budget for multiple stores.
Proven experience in identifying issues through data analysis and developing/executing improvement measures and mid-to-long-term plans for logistics and warehouse operations.
Strong Japanese communication skills for collaboration and consensus-building with domestic and international stakeholders.
English proficiency sufficient for email and chat communication with overseas contacts.
