About the Role

As a Security Officer at Securitas, you will be the first point of contact for visitors, guests, and employees, managing visitor traffic at the reception. You will operate and monitor internal security systems, respond to alarms, and initiate appropriate measures during incidents like break-ins or vandalism. Your role includes issuing keys, controlling external companies, conducting regular patrols, and performing closing duties. You will also be responsible for reporting and documentation.

Responsibilities

Serve as the primary contact for visitors, guests, and employees, managing visitor flow at reception.
Operate and monitor internal security systems, including fire alarm systems (BMA), intrusion detection systems (EMA), and video surveillance technology.
Respond to alarms and implement appropriate actions for incidents such as break-ins, damage, or vandalism.
Initiate measures to prevent danger in emergency or hazardous situations and during damage events.
Manage key issuance, control external contractors on-site, and conduct regular patrols with condition checks and closing duties.
Handle reporting and documentation.

Requirements

Security qualification according to §34a of the German Trade Regulation Act (Gewerbeordnung).
Unblemished police clearance certificate.
Good German language skills, both written and spoken.
High degree of responsibility.
Flexibility in working hours.
High motivation in dealing with people.
