About the Role
We are building the AI platform for freight forwarding and expanding our product surface. You will build products that do freight forwarding work alongside our customers' teams, operating across the entire shipment lifecycle. You will work across the stack in Python, TypeScript and React, and directly with customers and founders on what gets built.
Responsibilities
- Build products that do freight forwarding work alongside our customers' teams, operating across the entire shipment lifecycle.
- Work across the stack in Python, TypeScript and React.
- Directly engage with customers and founders on product development.
- Build best-in-class products for core freight forwarding jobs.
- Act as a design partner with customers to deeply understand their work and translate it into product features.
- Raise the ceiling on AI capabilities and improve reliability.
- Design for performance, reliability, explainability, and control of AI agents.
- Set up environments and evaluations to measure AI performance.
- Build the infrastructure for running AI agents in all products.
- Own the foundational platform for AI agents and workflows.
- Ensure scalability, communication, and data access controls for AI agents.
- Implement observability for monitoring and measuring AI agent performance.
Requirements
- Demonstrated exceptional ability in a specific area (spike) with supporting evidence.
- Shipped production systems that people depend on.
- Experience with system failures and lessons learned.
- Ability to take an ambiguous problem, make decisions, and see it through to completion.
- Humility and a strong capacity for learning and adapting based on evidence.
- Interest in solving complex, real-world operational problems.
