About the Role
Partner with the Founders across buying great firms, helping them grow, and supporting Eagle’s operations. Own workstreams, have a perspective, and mobilize people to get things done.
Responsibilities
- Run the integration cadence with firm leadership: 90-day plan, comp plan rollout, key hires
- Meet founder-owners of engineering firms and own the relationship from first call to close
- Maintain a high touch relationship with sellers and solve for their objectives
- Help with Eagle’s operations, including recruiting, logistics, and admin
- Drive growth at partner engineering firms
- Build Eagle
- Engage in M&A activities
- Operate acquired firms
- Manage deals
- Recruit talent
- Coordinate logistics
- Handle administrative tasks
Requirements
- Ability to earn trust with owners, founders, and executives
- Proficiency in using AI tools daily to increase work speed
- Willingness to travel onsite to implement ideas
- Excellent communication, nuance, and persuasion skills
- Curiosity and resourcefulness
- Ability to unblock work by meeting people, understanding them, and aligning them
- Willingness to ask hard questions and listen
- Ability to bring people along with clarity, empathy, and intention
- Ability to find faster, better, and cost-effective paths
- Fast learner with excitement for new domains
- Experience negotiating or convincing people in high-stakes settings
- Experience building a tool, dashboard, or automation with AI or low-code
- Comfortable learning new AI tools
- Ability to work onsite and earn trust of principals and engineers
- Ability to travel onsite as required (6-8 days a month)
