About the Role
The Associate Executive Director at Brightview Senior Living embraces the vision, mission, and vibrancy of the organization. They will help lead a team in creating and maintaining a vibrant and engaging living environment for residents and making Brightview a great place to work for its Associates. This role requires the candidate to live within the New York region and travel with ease throughout the region to communities in Orangeburg, White Plains, and Long Island.
Responsibilities
- Travel to communities within the region to immerse in training and become familiar with all departments.
- Assist various communities with creativity and independence in an entrepreneurial environment.
- Leverage existing leadership, management, and customer service skills.
- Be involved in every facet of the operation including Hospitality, Health Services, Dining, Programming, Sales, Maintenance, and the Business Office.
- Directly oversee three to five department heads.
- Assist the Executive Director with the direction of remaining Department Heads and all other associates as indirect reports.
- Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with Brightview's policies and procedures and applicable laws.
- Conduct interviewing, hiring, and training of associates.
- Plan, assign, and direct work.
- Evaluate performance, reward and discipline associates, and address complaints and resolve problems.
Requirements
- Must live within the New York region.
- Able to travel with ease throughout the region.
- Meet state licensing requirements (where applicable).
