About the Role

Provide intensive services to families whose children are at risk of removal or already in placement, aiming to prevent out-of-home placement and facilitate safe returns. This role involves working with a partner clinician in a combination of on-site and remote settings, including travel to client homes.

Responsibilities

  • Provide home and community services to individuals, groups, and families as prescribed in the treatment plan for those enrolled in Family Preservation Services.
  • Educate families in social-emotional and parenting skills, including communication, discipline, anger management, emotional regulation, attunement, caregiver affect management, decision making, problem-solving, social skill building, budgeting, family and home organization, and behavioral management.
  • Work in partnership with a Master’s level clinician to provide services to an assigned caseload of families.
  • Complete and maintain appropriate case records, including intake, assessments, progress notes, uniform case records, and reports, adhering to agency, county, and state policies and funding requirements.
  • Participate in comprehensive assessments and treatment plan creation for assigned cases to determine service needs and ensure regular treatment plan meetings and service plan reviews.
  • Provide liaison contact with collateral resources such as referring agencies, schools, family courts, and other agency personnel serving on behalf of a child and family.
