About the Role
At NAV CANADA, we help pilots safely cross 18 million square kilometers of Canadian and North Atlantic airspace. We are looking for highly motivated individuals to manage Canada’s airspace as Air Traffic Controllers (ATC). You do not require any prior specialized training or experience, and we pay you to learn.
Responsibilities
- Coordinating the safe, efficient and orderly flow of air traffic in 7 flight information regions (FIRs).
- Managing Canada’s airspace.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalency.
- Must be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident.
- Must be prepared to undergo a medical, security check, and drug testing (including cannabis).
- Must be willing to relocate to various NAV CANADA sites across Canada.
- Must meet language requirements: English for the Toronto FIR.
- Must possess clear verbal communication skills.
- Must demonstrate good memorization skills.
- Must have effective problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Must be strongly committed to teamwork.
- Must possess a high level of resilience and an ability to perform under pressure.
- Must meet the security requirement of the position.
- Must be legally able to work in Canada.

- Air Traffic Controller - Area Controller qualified salary $143,513 to $207,450
- Air Traffic Controller - Tower Controller qualified salary $104,258 to $207,450
