About the Role
We are looking for an organised, hard-working and passionate Assistant Chef to join our team at Rosetta Primary School in Newham. You will be responsible for ensuring the quality, presentation, and service of nutritionally balanced and tasty food meet the required standards, while maintaining excellent customer service and high food safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Assist with all planning, preparing and cooking of meals to the required standard.
- Ensure the company’s reputation for excellent food and service is enhanced with the client and customers.
- Brief kitchen teams on menus and service.
- Ensure all food safety and health and safety procedures are applied continuously.
- Carry out company bookwork.
Requirements
- Must be organised, hard-working and passionate.
- Must be able to maintain great customer service.
- Must maintain high food safety standards.
- An enhanced DBS disclosure will be obtained for this role.
