About the Role
The Value Capture & Integration Office, within Strategic Commercial Initiatives, drives Market Intelligence's commercial growth agenda by identifying, structuring, and executing initiatives that convert product, data, and platform integration into measurable commercial value. This involves partnering with various departments to translate integration opportunities into scalable, sellable solutions.
Responsibilities
- Lead the commercial growth agenda for Market Intelligence, identifying and monetizing integration opportunities.
- Architect end-to-end solutions translating integration and synergy opportunities into GTM-ready offerings.
- Build business cases and value-tracking frameworks for strategic commercial initiatives.
- Drive the shift from siloed, feature-led selling to integrated, solution-led selling.
- Partner with Sales and Account teams on strategic opportunities, renewals, expansions, and complex deals.
- Develop a deep understanding of customer business models, workflows, and decision drivers to design solutions.
- Collaborate across Product, Engineering, Technology, and the Enterprise Data Organization to refine offerings.
- Standardize repeatable integration-led solution patterns to improve efficiency and reduce risk.
- Guide prototypes and proofs of concept for priority integration pursuits.
- Train the broader revenue team on commercial initiatives.
- Work from the office a minimum of 2 days per week.
Requirements
- Typically have 15+ years of experience in commercial strategy, pre-sales/solution architecture, Go-To-Market (GTM), or integration and value-capture leadership.
- Proven track record of driving commercial growth through integration-led value capture and solution-led deal strategy.
- Demonstrated success leading strategic commercial initiatives and engaging executive stakeholders on complex, cross-divisional opportunities.
- Experience leading visible multidisciplinary project teams and influencing stakeholders across the organization.
- Technical fluency in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), hyperscalers, and modern data integration and orchestration approaches.
- External candidates reaching the final stage must attend at least one in-person interview at the nearest S&P Global office.
- Working fluency in AI/automation concepts, including agentic frameworks and orchestration tools.
- Ability to translate AI/automation capabilities into deployable client solutions.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills across matrixed, global organizations.
- Ability to articulate complex ideas across functions and levels, negotiate effectively, and build consensus.
- Advanced understanding of the industry, including market trends, client behavior, and competitive landscape.
- Ability to set a clear and inspiring vision aligned to the enterprise strategy.
- Strong leadership capabilities, including strategic thinking, identifying growth and innovation opportunities, and coaching others.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
