About the Role
TestEquity LLC is seeking an experienced, high-energy Account Executive to provide exceptional customer service, facilitate sales, and win business. The ideal candidate will understand the technical capabilities of products and their applications, possess knowledge of the Electronic Production industries' customer needs in R&D and production environments, and be adept at navigating TestEquity solutions for customers.
Responsibilities
- Establish customer relationships and collaborate with the outside sales team to provide timely responses to inquiries regarding pricing, quotes, questions, recommendations, and order issues.
- Determine optimal customer solutions and develop corresponding quotes.
- Partner with internal departments (Product, Pricing, Compliance, Outside Sales, National, and Regional Leadership) throughout the quoting and ordering processes.
- Collaborate with manufacturer sales representatives for product inquiries, lead times, and recommendations.
- Work with Product Management to understand products and address customer needs.
- Offer pricing in accordance with TestEquity's established pricing strategy and approval guidelines.
- Update and convert quotes to orders.
- Manage accounts and own customer relationships.
- Accurately enter information and utilize the ERP system.
- Partner with Outside Sales for strategic account planning, including information exchange on new quotes or customers to develop account penetration strategies and enhance profitability.
- Stay current on industry knowledge, competitive landscape, and other industry-impacting factors.
- Distribute TestEquity documentation and marketing emails.
- Indirectly ensure product quality.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- BS EE Degree or equivalent experience (3-5 years).
- Basic electronics theory, DC and AC circuits are a plus.
- Familiarity with digital electronics basics, technology, and manufacturing basics, including industry standards, practices, and common components.
- Knowledge of the Electronics industry, including test and production processes.
- Ability to provide exceptional customer service.
- Ability to understand customer needs and provide successful solutions.
- Directly and indirectly responsible for product quality.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.
