About the Role
Under the direction of a Senior Consultant or Manager/Director, the Consultant II will develop and provide solutions for clients pursuing operational excellence and technical solutions. Help lead and shape the delivery resources following firm policies and procedures and focus on expanding technical solutions across Wipfli's Oracle NetSuite Optimization ecosystem.
Responsibilities
- Complete tasks and projects in alignment with established Oracle NetSuite optimization delivery standards.
- Ensure all client work is properly created, tracked, and maintained through designated case management processes.
- Analyze client business requirements, conduct discovery sessions, and recommend solutions that align with business objectives and NetSuite leading practices.
- Lead working sessions with clients for assigned tasks and initiatives.
- Support configuration and user acceptance testing, including test scenarios and documentation when applicable.
- Communicate with clients on functional deliverables and work plan status and issues for both client and internal projects to Project Manager.
- Monitor own time and budget on projects and communicate overages and availability in advance.
- Train and mentor Consultant I’s and delegate and leverage work to ensure staff development.
- Participate in research and development and foundational efforts to position the team to learn, develop and deliver innovative solutions to the market.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 1+ years’ experience in a professional services firm or 3+ years of private industry experience focused on appropriate technical area.
- 2+ years of experience with Oracle NetSuite preferred.
- Preferred experience with NetSuite financial processes, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, financial reporting, project accounting, revenue recognition, Multi-Book Accounting, Planning & Budgeting, and grant management.
- Experience working in the manufacturing, healthcare or non-profit industries.
- Works towards obtaining additional appropriate advanced certifications.
- Ability to plan, prioritize, and organize work under pressure, within budget and time deadlines.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while quickly responding to unexpected events or changing priorities.
- Ability to work towards client management.
- Ability to support sales, marketing and cross selling through events, webinars, whitepapers, and knowledge of other Wipfli Consulting offerings.
- Ability to get involved in projects aligned within industries of interest and select an industry of focus.
