About the Role

Bloomsbury Football Foundation's Women's Coaching Pathway aims to build a real route for women to transition from loving football to making an impact in the local community at grassroots level. This programme is designed to empower women to become confident coaches, serving as trusted adults and positive role models for young people. The pathway combines on-pitch and off-pitch learning, led by experienced coach developers, to increase the number of women coaching in football.

Responsibilities

Complete at least 10 hours of coaching in Bloomsbury Football Foundation's programme
Attend at least 6 sessions across the year, held in North London on Saturday mornings (once a month January - August)

Requirements

Must be a football coach, ex-player, or current player looking to transition into coaching
Must be passionate about being a positive role model in the community
Must be committed to developing coaching practice, both on and off the pitch
Role is subject to safer recruitment measures, including a satisfactory Enhanced DBS check and a public-domain social media/online background check
