As a Senior Access Associate, you will lead in managing and guiding team members to maintain high-quality standards of customer care.

Provides knowledge, expertise, and guidance to a team of access associates.
Assists in training new employees.
Serves as a resource to others in the resolution of complex issues.
Manages incoming calls and provides necessary information.
Greets patients and/or their representatives and provides direction as needed.
Schedules patient appointments.
Interviews patients and/or their representatives to obtain necessary information.
Completes the registration process for patients and/or their representatives.
Verifies insurance eligibility/coverage and obtains necessary pre-certifications/authorizations when applicable.
Collects/processes co-payments, deductibles, and/or other types of payments.
Provides cost estimates when applicable.
Reviews charges in charge review WQs for completeness and accuracy.

Three (3) years of related work experience in a healthcare or customer service setting preferred.
