About the Role
Enhance existing services by assessing families' long-term goals at intake and developing service plans with achievable tasks for permanent housing, incorporating community resources.
Responsibilities
- Supervise Social Workers/Client Care Coordinators
- Manage a small caseload
- Assign cases to client coordinators for newly admitted families
- Develop onsite schedule for Client Care Coordinators
- Manage program record keeping, data collection, and evaluation
- Ensure quality services and interventions are provided
- Provide on-call crisis intervention support
- Develop community linkages
- Develop and implement onsite support groups for families
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Requirements
- Master’s Degree in Social Worker with current LMSW licensure
- At least 2 years of experience including in a supervisory capacity
- Knowledge of adult, child and adolescent development, emotional/behavioral health and mental health, family dynamics, parent-child relationships, diagnostic classifications
- Strengths-based, solution-focused, and family-centered practice skills
- Experience working with diverse client populations
- Knowledge of child welfare policies, regulations, safety, permanency, and well-being
