About the Role
The Shelter and Support Program Budget division manages the agency’s $2 Billion expense budget for shelter and support programs. This role is responsible for the effective implementation of all budgetary aspects of the Agency’s shelter and support program contracts, ensuring accuracy and efficient information distribution.
Responsibilities
- Compare fiscal, budgetary, statistical, and other data against control documents to identify variances or discrepancies for correction.
- Collect and analyze statistical and quantitative data to produce summary results for agency decision-making.
- Manage the portfolio of new capacity for budgetary contracts.
- Assist human service providers with budget submissions through the HHS Accelerator, Passport, SMS, and New Needs systems.
- Complete Form 5s and other fiscal documents for budget administration, new needs, and other agency budget functions.
- Complete additional assignments as necessary.
Requirements
- Permanent in the Associate Staff Analyst Civil Service title.
- Permanent in a comparable title eligible for 6.1.9 Title Change.
- Reachable with a score of 100 on the Open Competitive Administrative Director of Social Services Exam (# 5041).
