About the Role
Materials Intelligence Lab is innovating research in the chemical and materials fields with the latest AI technology. We are building a platform that can accelerate materials development research, which typically requires significant time and resources, by researching the latest AI technologies in conjunction with scientific knowledge. We are establishing an open collaboration system with all LG affiliates and leading global institutions.
Responsibilities
- Research and develop LLM-based agent systems for automating molecular/scientific discovery.
- Design workflows that integrate, plan, orchestrate, and optimize scientific tools (e.g., molecular property prediction, retrosynthesis, molecular/reaction search, scientific knowledge extraction, AutoML tooling).
- Build AutoML systems including data extraction and preprocessing from scientific literature, and ML model training, evaluation, and automatic finetuning for molecular property prediction.
Requirements
- Master's or Ph.D. degree in a related field.
- Experience in research and development of Deep Learning/Machine Learning algorithms.
