About the Role

This opportunity is exclusive to U.S. military members currently serving on active duty and eligible to participate in the DoD SkillBridge Program. This is not a civilian or student internship. Opportunities are available for Assistant Superintendent and Junior Estimator roles.

Responsibilities

• Supports daily field operations and works alongside the Superintendent to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project schedules on complex construction projects.
• Assists with trade coordination, material tracking, site logistics, and safety compliance.
• Supports the estimating team in preparing accurate and competitive estimates for construction projects.
• Reviews drawings and specifications, analyzes subcontractor bids, assists with scope comparisons, and supports bid submissions.

Requirements

• Demonstrate interest in construction management or the construction industry
• Have served at least 180 days on active duty
• Be eligible to participate during the final six months of military service prior to separation or retirement
• Be expected to receive an honorable discharge
• Have completed the Transition Assistance Program (TAP/TGPS)
• Have attended or participated in an ethics brief within the last 12 months
• Received Unit Commander (first O-4/Field Grade commander in chain of command) written authorization and approval to participate in DoD SkillBridge Program prior to start of the internship
